DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL11.1 SAFETY INFORMATIONDANGER: High voltages can causelethal electric shock and burns.Power terminals of the drive control-lers can carry dangerous voltage forup to 3 minutes after disconnection.The power socket inside the control cabinet is liveeven when the main switch is shut off.Work on the electrics must only be carried out:• in compliance with the applicable standards in yourcountry.• by a qualified electrician.11.2 TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN OF THE MACHINE1. Drain auxiliary products and dispose of responsibly.2. Turn off the machine.3. Turn off the compressed air supply to the machine.4. Secure the machine against restarting.5. Clean the machine.11.3 FINAL SHUTDOWN OF THE MACHINE1. Turn off the machine.2. Disconnect power supply at the feed-in point orunplug the plug.3. Roll up the power supply cable and secure it to themachine.4. Turn off the compressed air supply to the machineand disconnect the supply line5. Drain auxiliary products and dispose of responsibly.11.4 DISPOSE OF THE MACHINEBefore disposal, check that all power supply lines tothe machine are disconnected.Inform yourself about the local regulations and direc-tions regarding disposal. The following materials areall hazardous waste:• Rechargeable batteries, dry batteries, button cells• Paints, lacquers, adhesives• Chemicals (e.g. solvents, cleaning agents etc.)• Fluorescent tubes, UV lamps,• Waste oil and oil filtersPlease direct any other questions to Magnaflux GmbH.Procedure1.
