An after-image appears• If an image remains on the screen for anextended period of time, it may be imprinted inthe screen and leave an afterimage. Thisusually disappears after a few hours.An afterimage remains after the powerhas been turned off.• This is characteristic of liquid crystal and is notcaused by a malfunction or deterioration of theliquid crystal. The afterimage will disappear aftera period of time.Green, red, blue, dark and white dotsremain.• The remaining dots are normal characteristic ofthe liquid crystal used in today’s technology.TV and Audio ProblemsPoor TV signal reception• The proximity of mountains or high buildingsmay be responsible for ghost pictures, echoingor shadows. In this case, try manually adjustingyour pictures: see 'fine tuning' or adjust thedirection of the outside aerial.No TV picture• Have you connected the aerial socket properly?Have you chosen the right system? Poorlyconnected aerial sockets are often the cause ofpicture or sound problems (sometimes theconnectors can become half disconnected if theTV set is moved or turned).
