Plug it back in and attempt to Power On the unit.No sound or picture. • Make sure both the TV and Blu-ray Disc™ player areTurned On.• Confirm the connections to the TV are made properlyas shown in CONNECTIONS.• Check to see whether the connected TV or anotherdevice supports HDCP. (This unit will not output avideo signal unless the other device supports HDCP.)No reaction to theRemote Control.• Confirm that the player’s AC power cord is plugged intoa power outlet.• Check the Batteries in the Remote Control, and makesure they are inserted properly by + or - symbols.• Point the Digital or Cell Phone Camera towards thefront of the Remote Control. Press any Arrow key onthe Remote Control and look at the Camera Display.If a pulsating light appears on the Display the RemoteControl is sending out an IR signal.D NoteSome Cameras have an IR Filter and will not displaythe IR signal.No high-definitionvideo signal on theTV screen.• Does the Disc contain high-definition Video and the TVsupport it? High-definition Video is only available whenthe Disc contains it and the TV supports it.Distorted picture. • Sometimes a small amount of picture distortion mayappear. This is not a malfunction.No sound ordistorted sound.• Adjust the volume.• Check the HDMI and AUDIO connections as necessary.• Make sure the HDMI cable is not plugged into an HDMI-DVI adapter which does not handle Digital sound.• Check the settings in “Audio Out” menu.Cannot play back adisc.• Make sure that the product supports the disc.• Check the region code of the disc. This unit supportsthe following region codes.- Blu-ray Disc™: “A”- DVD: “ALL” or “1”• Clean the disc.Cannot connect tothe network.• Check to see if the modem / router has Power turnedOn.• Confirm, if the Internet light is showing activity (lightblinking) on the modem / router.• Check network settings on the unit. Please refer toOnline Owner’s Manual.• Power cycle the modem’s and/or router’s AC plug fromits AC outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.Then, try reconnecting cords. If you have a telephone /Internet modem with your cable service, then you mayhave to use its reset button or remove the backupbattery to reset this type of modem. Now wait for thelights to show activity and try reconnecting.• Check the cable connections to the router.• If none of above solves trouble, please contact your ISP(Internet Service Provider) for further assistance.Cannot use thewireless connection.• Once you have activated the wireless connection, pleasewait 30 seconds for the connection to be establishedafter Turning On the unit, before trying to accessnetwork features such as BD-Live™, DLNA homenetwork server and the third-party network services.• If appears in the upper left corner of the HomeMenu screen, this unit is connected to an Access Point.Please contact your ISP for further assistance when youcannot access BD-Live™ or network services.If you do not find a solution above, please visit our websitewww.magnavox.com for the Online Owner’s Manual.Please download it and then refer to “TROUBLESHOOTING” sectionfor more information.
