That means everytime you change the CD or tape you mustrecalibrate the instrument.To calibrate the Tape/CD speech inputselect TAPE/CD with the left SIGNALselector key .Press the left SIGNAL key longer than 2seconds.In the lower area of the display the textCalibration appears. You also see theactual settings in % of the maximumcalibration for both channels (see picture32).On every CD or tape with speech testmaterial you have a reference signal, suchas a reference tone or speech simulatingnoise.Perform the reference signal with CD.Use the left knob for the left channel and the right knob ↕ for the rightchannel and adjust the levels until both VU-meters and show all yellowand one green light.If one or more red lights are on, reduce the level using the correspondingknobs or ↕.Store the calibration by pressing the STIM bar or ↔.5.2.2 Calibration of the microphone for live speech testTo calibrate the SPEECH MIC input selectMIC with the left SIGNAL selector key .Press the left SIGNAL key longer than 2seconds.In the lower area of the display the textCalibration appears.
