A battery operated tool with integral bat-teries or a separate battery pack must berecharged only with the specified chargerfor the battery. A charger that may be suit-able for one type of battery may create a riskof fire when used with another battery.5. Use battery operated tool only with specif-ically designated battery pack. Use of anyother batteries may create a risk of fire.Personal Safety6. Stay alert, watch what you are doing, anduse common sense when operating apower tool. Do not use tool while tired orunder the influence of drugs, alcohol, ormedication. A moment of inattention whileoperating power tools may result in seriouspersonal injury.7. Dress properly. Do not wear loose cloth-ing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keepyour hair, clothing, and gloves away frommoving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or longhair can be caught in moving parts.8. Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switchis in the locked or off position beforeinserting battery pack. Carrying tools withyour finger on the switch or inserting the bat-tery pack into a tool with the switch on invitesaccidents.9. Remove adjusting keys or wrenchesbefore turning the tool on. A wrench or akey that is left attached to a rotating part ofthe tool may result in personal injury.10. Do not overreach. Keep proper footingand balance at all times. Proper footing andbalance enable better control of the tool inunexpected situations.11. Use safety equipment. Always wear eyeprotection. Maintain tools with care. Keep cuttingtools sharp and clean. Properly maintainedtools with sharp cutting edge are less likely tobind and are easier to control.19. Check for misalignment or binding ofmoving parts, breakage of parts, and anyother condition that may affect the tool’soperation. If damaged, have the tool ser-viced before using. Many accidents arecaused by poorly maintained tools.20. Use only accessories that are recom-mended by the manufacturer for yourmodel. Accessories that may be suitable forone tool may create a risk of injury whenused on another tool.
