Speed changeTo change the speed, slide the speed changelever to the "H" side for high speed or"L" side for low speed. To slide the speedchange lever easily, pull the trigger slightlywhile pushing the speed change lever. Besure that the speed change lever i s set tothe correct position before operation. Usethe right speed for your job.CAUTION:Always set the speed change lever fully into the correct position. If you operate the toolwith the speed change lever positioned halfway between the "H" side and "L" side, thetool may be damaged.Adjusting fastening torqueThe fastening torque can be adjusted in sixstages by turning the adjusting ring so thatthe pointer on the adjusting ring points toa number on the tool body. The fasteningtorque is minimum when the pointer pointsto the number 1 and maximum when itpoints to the a\- marking. Release the trigger as soonas the clutch cuts in.8
