One full turn of the locking sleeve equals1.5 mm change in depth.Adjust the locking sleeve so that the distance betweenthe tip of the locator and the screw head isapproximately 1 mm as shown in the figure. Drive a trialscrew into your material or a piece of duplicate material.If the depth is still not suitable for the screw, continueadjusting until you obtain the proper depth setting.Fig.2Switch actionFig.3CAUTION:• Before plugging in the tool, always check to seethat the switch trigger actuates properly andreturns to the "OFF" position when released.To start the tool, simply pull the switch trigger. Toolspeed is increased by increasing pressure on the switchtrigger. Release the switch trigger to stop.For continuous operation, pull the switch trigger andthen push in the lock button.To stop the tool from the locked position, pull the switchtrigger fully, then release it.NOTE:• Even with the switch on and motor running, the bitwill not rotate until you fit the point of the bit in thescrew head and apply forward pressure to engagethe clutch.Reversing switch actionFig.4CAUTION:• Always check the direction of rotation beforeoperation.• Use the reversing switch only after the tool comesto a complete stop. Changing the direction ofrotation before the tool stops may damage the tool.This tool has a reversing switch to change the directionof rotation. Move the reversing switch lever tothe position (A side) for clockwise rotation orthe position (B side) for counterclockwise rotation.
