5Tips for maintaining maximum battery life1. Charge the battery cartridge beforecompletely discharged.Always stop tool operation and charge thebattery cartridge when you notice less toolpower.2. Never recharge a fully charged batterycartridge.Overcharging shortens the battery service life.3. Charge the battery cartridge with roomtemperature at 10 ゚ C - 40 ゚ C (50 ゚ F - 104 ゚ F).Let a hot battery cartridge cool down beforecharging it.4. Always insert it all the wayuntil it locks in place with a little click. If you cansee the red part on the upper side of the button, itis not locked completely. Insert it fully until the redpart cannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fallout of the tool, causing injury to you or someonearound you.• Do not use force when inserting the batterycartridge. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, itis not being inserted correctly.Refresh chargingRefreshing battery adapter (optional accessory) canrefresh an inactive battery cartridge.• Refresh charging should be done once a week.• When you charge a new battery cartridge or abattery cartridge that has not been used for a longtime, it may not accept a full charge. In this case,refresh charging must be done. The batterycartridge may decrease the tool performance,because the chemical substance of the batterycartridge is inactive.
