But if it is off, you can adjust it asthe following procedure.Make sure all levers and screws are tightened. Slightlyloosen the screw as illustrated. While opening the lowerguard, move the rear of base so that the distance A andB are equal. After adjusting, tighten the screw. Make atest cut to get a correct parallelism.Replacing carbon brushes1001145Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.Replace when they wear down to the limit mark. Keepthe carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the sametime.
