10Rip fence (guide rule) (Accessory)007980The handy rip fence allows you to do extra-accuratestraight cuts. Simply slide the rip fence up snugly againstthe side of the workpiece and secure it in position withthe screw on the front of the base. It also makesrepeated cuts of uniform width possible.MAINTENANCECAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and thebattery cartridge is removed before attempting toperform inspection or maintenance.Adjusting for accuracy of 90° cut (vertical cut)This adjustment has been made at the factory. But if it isoff, adjust the adjusting screws with a hex wrench whileinspecting 90° the blade with the base using atriangular rule or square rule, etc.10079811007982Replacing carbon brushes1001145Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.Replace when they wear down to the limit mark. Keepthe carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the sametime. Use only identical carbon brushes.Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps.Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new onesand secure the brush holder caps.12007983After replacing brushes, insert the battery cartridge intothe tool and break in brushes by running tool with noload for about 1 minute. Then check the tool whilerunning and electric brake operation when releasing theswitch trigger.
