Always insert it all the way until it locks inplace with a little click. If you can see the red indicator onthe upper side of the button, it is not locked completely.Install it fully until the red indicator cannot be seen. If not,it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury toyou or someone around you.NOTE:• Do not use force when installing the batterycartridge. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, itis not being inserted correctly.Power switch actionWARNING:• Before inserting the battery cartridge in thetool, always check to see that the switch triggeractuates properly and returns to the "OFF"position when released. Do not pull the switchtrigger hard without pressing in the lock-offbutton. This can cause switch breakage.Operating a tool with a switch that does not actuateproperly can lead to loss of control and seriouspersonal injury.12010814To prevent the switch trigger from being accidentallypulled, a lock-off button is provided.To start the tool, press in the lock-off button and pull theswitch trigger. The tool speed is increased by increasingpressure on the switch trigger. Release the switch triggerto stop.Reversing Switch for Debris Removal1AB010825This tool has a reversing switch. To remove debrisjammed or entangled in the tool, depress the "B" side ofthe switch to reverse the rotation. For normal operation,depress the "A" side of the switch.NOTICE:• Always check the direction of rotation beforeoperation.• Use the reversing switch only after the tool comesto a complete stop.
