6 ENGLISHSpeed adjusting dial1► 1. Speed adjusting dialThe tool speed can be infinitely adjusted between 1.4m/s (275 ft/min) and 2.7 m/s (530 ft/min) by turning theadjusting dial. Higher speed is obtained when the dialis turned in the direction of number 6; lower speed isobtained when it is turned in the direction of number 1.Select the proper speed for the workpiece to be cut.CAUTION:• The speed adjusting dial can be turned only asfar as 6 and back to 1. Do not force it past 6 or1, or the speed adjusting function may no longerwork.Lighting up the lamp1► 1. LampCAUTION:• Do not apply impact to the lamp, which maycause damage or shorted service time to it.Pull the switch trigger to light up the lamp. The lampkeeps on lighting while the switch trigger is being pulled.The lamp goes out 10 -15 seconds after releasing thetrigger.NOTE:• Use a dry cloth to wipe the dirt off the lens oflamp. Be careful not to scratch the lens of lamp,or it may lower the illumination.• Do not use thinner or gasoline to clean the lamp.Such solvents may damage it.Battery protection systemThe tool is equipped with the protection system, whichautomatically cuts off the output power for a long ser-vice life of the battery cartridge.When the tool is overloaded or the remaining batterycapacity gets low, the lamp flickers. Within one secondafter flickering, the tool stops.If the tool stops under no or light load, recharge orreplace the battery cartridge.Hook1► 1. HookThe tool may be hung using the hook. Hang tool on apipe vice or other suitable, stable structure.ASSEMBLYCAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off andthe battery cartridge is removed before carryingout any work on the tool.Installing or removing the bladeCAUTION:• Oil on the blade can cause the blade to slip orcome off unexpectedly. Wipe off all excess oilwith a cloth before installing the blade.• Use caution when handling the blade so thatyou are not cut by the sharp edge of the bladeteeth.
