Hold the rear handlewith your right hand, the front handle with yourleft. The bar and the chain must not be in contactwith any object.CAUTION: Should the saw chain not stopimmediately when this test is performed, thesaw may not be used under any circumstances.Consult our authorized service center.1. Press the lock-off lever, then pull the switch trig-ger. The saw chain starts immediately.2. Push the front hand guard forwards with the backof your hand. LockedpositionChecking the run-down brakeCAUTION: If the saw chain does not stopwithin one second in this test, stop using thechain saw and consult our authorized servicecenter.Run the chain saw then release the switch trigger com-pletely. The saw chain must come to a standstill withinone second.Adjusting the chain lubricationYou can adjust the oil pump feed rate with the adjustingscrew.
