Follow instructions inthe Maintenance section of this manual.Use of unauthorized parts or failure to followMaintenance instructions may create a risk ofelectric shock or injury.USE PROPER EXTENSION CORD: Make sure your extension cord is in good condition.When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current yourproduct will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss ofpower and overheating. Table 1 shows the correct size to use depending on cord length andnameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. In cold weather or when the tool has notbeen used for a long time, let the toolwarm up for a while by operating it underno load.
