12 ENGLISHDrilling in wood or metalCAUTION:• Never use "rotation with hammering" when thequick change drill chuck is installed on the tool.The quick change drill chuck may be damaged.Also, the drill chuck will come off when reversingthe tool.• Pressing excessively on the tool will not speedup the drilling. In fact, this excessive pressurewill only serve to damage the tip of your bit,decrease the tool performance and shorten theservice life of the tool.• There is a tremendous twisting force exertedon the tool/bit at the time of hole breakthrough.Hold the tool firmly and exert care when the bitbegins to break through the workpiece.• A stuck bit can be removed simply by settingthe reversing switch to reverse rotation in orderto back out. However, the tool may back outabruptly if you do not hold it firmly.• Always secure small workpieces in a vise orsimilar hold-down device.Set the action mode changing knob to the symbol.You can drill up to 13 mm diameter in metal and up to32 mm diameter in wood.For Model HR2631F, HR2641, HR2630► Fig.33: 1. Chuck keyTo install the bit, place it in the chuck as far as it will go.Tighten the chuck by hand. Place the chuck key in eachof the three holes and tighten clockwise.
