7Installing or removing the bit21003150Clean the bit shank and apply bit grease before installingthe bit.Insert the bit into the tool. Turn the bit and push it in until itengages.12008543If the bit cannot be pushed in, remove the bit. Pull thechuck cover down a couple of times. Then insert the bitagain. Turn the bit and push it in until it engages. After installing, always make sure that the bit is securelyheld in place by trying to pull it out.To remove the bit, pull the chuck cover down all the wayand pull the bit out.12008544Bit angle (when chipping, scaling ordemolishing)123008545The bit can be secured at 24 different angles. To changethe bit angle, depress the lock button and rotate thechange lever so that the pointer points to the symbol.Turn the bit to the desired angle.Depress the lock button and rotate the change lever sothat the pointer points to the symbol. Then make surethat the bit is securely held in place by turning it slightly.Depth gauge12008546The depth gauge is convenient for drilling holes ofuniform depth. Loosen the clamp screw and adjust thedepth gauge to the desired depth. After adjusting, tightenthe clamp screw firmly.NOTE:• The depth gauge cannot be used at the positionwhere the depth gauge strikes against the gearhousing/motor housing.Dust cup1001300Use the dust cup to prevent dust from falling over the tooland on yourself when performing overhead drillingoperations. Attach the dust cup to the bit as shown in thefigure. The size of bits which the dust cup can beattached to is as follows.Dust cup 5Dust cup 96 mm (1/4”) - 14.5 mm (9/16”)Bit diameter12 mm (15/32”) - 16 mm (5/8”)003187OPERATIONCAUTION:• Always use the side grip (auxiliary handle) andfirmly hold the tool by both side grip and switchhandle during operations.1.
