511. Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is inthe off-position before plugging in. Carrying powertools with your finger on the switch or plugging inpower tools that have the switch on invites accidents.12. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turn-ing the power tool on. A wrench or a key leftattached to a rotating part of the power tool may resultin personal injury.13. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and bal-ance at all times. This enables better control of thepower tool in unexpected situations.14. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jew-ellery. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves awayfrom moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or longhair can be caught in moving parts.15. If devices are provided for the connection of dustextraction and collection facilities, ensure theseare connected and properly used. Use of thesedevices can reduce dustrelated hazards.Power tool use and care16. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct powertool for your application. The correct power tool willdo the job better and safer at the rate for which it wasdesigned.17. Do not use the power tool if the switch does notturn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be con-trolled with the switch is dangerous and must berepaired.18. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/orthe battery pack from the power tool before mak-ing any adjustments, changing accessories, orstoring power tools. Such preventive safety mea-sures reduce the risk of starting the power tool acci-dentally.19. Store idle power tools out of the reach of childrenand do not allow persons unfamiliar with thepower tool or these instructions to operate thepower tool. Power tools are dangerous in the handsof untrained users.20. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment orbinding of moving parts, breakage of parts andany other condition that may affect the powertools operation. If damaged, have the power toolrepaired before use. Many accidents are caused bypoorly maintained power tools.21. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly main-tained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are lesslikely to bind and are easier to control.22. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.in accordance with these instructions and in themanner intended for the particular type of powertool, taking into account the working conditionsand the work to be performed. Use of the power toolfor operations different from those intended couldresult in a hazardous situation.Service23. Have your power tool serviced by a qualifiedrepair person using only identical replacementparts. Do not cut oversize workpiece.6. Check for the proper clearance beyond the work-piece before cutting so that the blade will notstrike the floor, workbench, etc.7. Hold the tool firmly.8. Make sure the blade is not contacting the work-piece before the switch is turned on.9. Keep hands away from moving parts.10. Do not leave the tool running. Operate the toolonly when hand-held.11. Always switch off and wait for the blade to cometo a complete stop before removing the blade fromthe workpiece.12. Do not touch the blade or the workpiece immedi-ately after operation; they may be extremely hotand could burn your skin.13. Do not operate the tool at no-load unnecessarily.14. Always use the correct dust mask/respirator forthe material and application you are working with.15. Some material contains chemicals which may betoxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhalation andskin contact.
