Applycaution when locking tool in "ON" position andmaintain firm grasp on tool.Fig.1To start the tool, slide the switch lever toward the "I (ON)"position. For continuous operation, press the front of theswitch lever to lock it.To stop the tool, press the rear of the switch lever, thenslide it toward the "O (OFF)" position.ASSEMBLYCAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off andunplugged before carrying out any work on the tool.For JS1601 OnlyAdjusting the blade clearanceAdjust the clearance between the side blade and thecenter blade according to the thickness of the workpiece.Fig.2First use a hex wrench to loosen the screw.Fig.3Then use the hex wrench to adjust the clearance bytightening or loosening the bolt.
