Carrying toolMake sure that the tool is unplugged Secure the blade at 0" bevel angle and the turn basea t 52" miter angle to the right Secure the slide poles after pulling the carriage toward youfully Lower the handle fully and lock it in the lowered position by pushing in the stopperpin Carry the tool by holding both side of the tool base as shown in the figure below Ifyou remove the holders, dust bag, vise, etc , you can carry the tool more easilyCAUTION:*Always secure all moving portions before carrying the tool.*Stopper pin is for carrying purposes only and not for any cutting operations..MAINTENANCECAUTION:Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before attempting to performinspection or maintenance.WARN ING :Always be sure that the blade is sharp and clean for the best and safest performance.Adjusting the cutting angleThis tool is carefully adjusted and aligned at the factory, but rough handling may haveaffected the alignment. If your tool is not aligned properly, perform the following:1) Miter anglePush the carriage toward the guidefence and tighten the knob to securethe carriage. Loosen the grip whichsecures the turn base. Turn the turnbase so that the pointer indicates 0" onthe miter scale. Then turn the turn baseslightly clockwise and counterclockwiseto seat the turn base cozily in the 0"miter notch. (Leave as it is if the pointerdoes not indicate O".) Loosen the fourhex bolts securing the guide fence usingthe socket wrench.25
