13Fig.36Make sure that the pointer on the turn basepoint to 0° on the bevel scale on the arm. If itdoes not point to 0°, loosen the screw whichsecures the pointer and adjust the pointer sothat it will point to 0°.Fig.37(2) 45° bevel angleFig.38Adjust the 45° bevel angle only afterperforming 0° bevel angle adjustment. Toadjust left 45° bevel angle, loosen the leverand tilt the blade to the left fully. Make surethat the pointer on the arm points to 45° onthe bevel scale on the arm. If the pointer doesnot point to 45°, turn the 45° bevel angleadjusting bolt on the left side of the arm untilthe pointer points to 45°.Replacing carbon brushesFig.39Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.Replace when they wear down to the limit mark. Keepthe carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the sametime. Use only identical carbon brushes.Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps.Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new onesand secure the brush holder caps.Fig.40After use• After use, wipe off chips and dust adhering to thetool with a cloth or the like. Keep the blade guardclean according to the directions in the previouslycovered section titled "Blade guard".
