5 ENGLISHWhen the lock lever is in the locked position , theswitch cannot be actuated.When the lock lever is in the unlocked position , theswitch can be actuated.Switch actionCAUTION:• Before inserting the battery cartridge into thetool, always check to see that the switch actu-ates properly and returns to the "OFF" positionwhen released.12► 1. Lock lever 2. SwitchTo start the tool, first move the lock lever to theunlocked position to release the switch lever.1AB AB► 1. SwitchAnd then turn the switch to A side for clockwise rotationor to B side for counterclockwise rotation.Tool speed is increased by increasing rotation force onthe switch. Release the switch to stop.CAUTION:• Always check the direction of rotation beforeoperation.• Change the direction only after the tool comesto a complete stop. Changing the direction ofrotation before the tool stops may damage thetool.• When not operating the tool, always set the locklever in the locked position .Lighting up the front lightCAUTION:• Do not look in the light or see the source of lightdirectly.12► 1. Lock lever 2. LightTo start the tool, first move the lock lever to the releasedposition to release the switch.1AB AB► 1. SwitchTo put on the light only, rotate the switch to the A or Bside a little.To not only put on the light but also start the tool rotatethe switch to the A or B side more.Release the switch to stop the lamp and tool.NOTE:• Use a dry cloth to wipe the dirt off the lens oflamp. Be careful not to scratch the lens of lamp,or it may lower the illumination.ASSEMBLYCAUTION:• Always be sure that the lock lever is in thelocked position mark and the battery car-tridge is removed before carrying out any workon the tool.
