6 ENGLISHThis tool has a reversing switch to change the directionof rotation. Depress the reversing switch lever from theA side for clockwise rotation or from the B side for coun-terclockwise rotation.When the reversing switch lever is in the neutral posi-tion, the switch trigger cannot be pulled.ASSEMBLYCAUTION: Always be sure that the tool isswitched off and the battery cartridge is removedbefore carrying out any work on the tool.Selecting correct impact socketAlways use the correct size impact socket for bolts andnuts. An incorrect size impact socket will result in inac-curate and inconsistent fastening torque and/or damageto the bolt or nut.Installing or removing impact socket► Fig.6: 1. Impact socket 2. Square driveTo install the impact socket, push it onto the squaredrive of the tool until it locks into place.To remove the impact socket, simply pull it off.Installing hookCAUTION: When installing the hook, alwayssecure it with the screw firmly. ScrewThe hook is convenient for temporarily hanging the tool.This can be installed on either side of the tool. To installthe hook, insert it into a groove in the tool housing oneither side and then secure it with a screw. To remove,loosen the screw and then take it out.OPERATIONCAUTION: Always insert the battery cartridgeall the way until it locks in place. If you can see thered indicator on the upper side of the button, it is notlocked completely. Insert it fully until the red indicatorcannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fall out ofthe tool, causing injury to you or someone aroundyou.► Fig.8Hold the tool firmly and place the impact socket overthe bolt or nut.
