3SERVICING OF DOUBLEINSULATED APPLIANCESIn a double-insulated appliance, two systems ofinsulation are provided instead of grounding. Nogrounding means is provided on a double-insulatedappliance, nor should a means for grounding beadded to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care andknowledge of the system, and should be done onlyby qualified service personnel. Replacement partsfor a double-insulated appliance must be identicalto the parts they replace. A double-insulatedappliance is marked with the words "DOUBLEINSULATION" or "DOUBLE INSULATED," Thesymbol (square within a square) may also bemarked on the appliance.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.VOLTAGE WARNING: Before connecting theappliance to a power source (receptacle, outlet, etc.)be sure the voltage supplied is the same as thatspecified on the nameplate of the appliance.
