This system automatically cuts off power to themotor to extend tool and battery life. The tool will auto-matically stop during operation if the tool or battery isplaced under one of the following conditions:Overload protectionWhen the tool/battery is operated in a manner thatcauses it to draw an abnormally high current, the toolautomatically stops. In this situation, turn the tool offand stop the application that caused the tool to becomeoverloaded. Then turn the tool on to restart.Overheat protectionWhen the tool/battery is overheated, the tool stopsautomatically. In this situation, let the tool/battery coolbefore turning the tool on again.Overdischarge protectionWhen the battery capacity becomes low, the tool stopsautomatically. If the product does not operate evenwhen the switches are operated, remove the batteriesfrom the tool and charge the batteries.
