Page 13 of 20 W1 Product Manual 1.33 Connect your Nauticast B23.1 Nauticast B2 Data CableFor the connection of the Nauticast B2 to the Nauticast W1 you can use either data cableP/N 3001004 or P/N 3001012. Connect the RS232 plug to the Nauticast W1. The complete serialinterface settings are already set up correctly for this use case.To use the RS422 interface, please see the instructions in section 1.2.3.2 RS422/RS485Conncetion. After setup both optionswill work equally well.3.2 Link2AISIf you’re using a PC to connect, you can use the Link2AIS application (included in the USB datacard that comes with the Nauticast B2 or the NauticastW1) out of the box.
