Each Mobile Handset may beconfigured for site-specific requirements by opening the Admin menuand selecting options or entering specific information. Any settingsentered in the Admin menu must conform to system settings. Only theMobile Handset being configured is affected by the Admin menusettings.The Mobile Handset user may select several usability options from theStandby menu, described in the “User-defined Preferences” on page 4-10. Every Mobile Handset is independent and ifthe default settings are not desired, the admin options must be set ineach Mobile Handset requiring different settings.Opening the Admin MenuStep 1 With the Mobile Handset powered OFF, simultaneously press and holdthe Power ON and Power OFF keys.Step 2 Release the Power On key, wait for a single beep, then release thePower Off key. The Admin Menu displays.NOTEIf an admin password has been set, the display will require its entry before openingthe Admin Menu. If no password is set, the display will proceed directly into theAdmin Menu.
