The change in colourwill appear on screen and the direction (increase or decrease) will be shown by the bars.NATIVE: Original colour presented by the LCD panel that is unadjustable.sRGB: sRGB mode dramatically improves the colour fidelity in the desktop environment by a single standard RGBcolour space. With this colour supported environment, the operator could easily and confidently communicate colourwithout further colour management overhead in the most common situations.ToolsDVI SELECTIONThis function selects the DVI input mode (DVI-I). When the DVI selection has been changed, the computer has to berestarted.DIGITAL: DVI digital input is available.ANALOG: DVI analog input is available.NOTE: For the MAC with digital output: Before turning on the MAC, the DVI Input mode must be set to DIGITAL in“DVI SELECTION” of OSM by pressing “SELECT” button then “CONTROL” button when the DVI signal cableis connected to the DVI-I connector (DVI-I) of the monitor. Otherwise the MAC may not turn on.NOTE: Depending on the PC and Video card used, or when another Video signal cable is attached, this functionmay not operate.VIDEO DETECTSelects the method of video detection when more than one computer is connected.FIRST: The video input has to be switched to “FIRST” mode. When current video input signal is not present, then themonitor searches for a video signal from the other video input port. If the video signal is present in the other port,then the monitor switches the video source input port to the new found video source automatically. The monitor willnot look for other video signals while the current video source is present.NONE: The Monitor will not search the other video input port unless the monitor is turned on.OFF TIMERMonitor will automatically power-down when the end user has selected a pre-determined amount of time.Before powering off, a message will appear on the screen asking the user if they want to delay the turn off timeby 60 minutes. Press any OSM button to delay the turn off time.IPMThe Intelligent Power Manager allows the monitor to enter into a power saving mode after a period of inactivity.The IPM has two settings.STANDARD: Monitor enters power save mode automatically when the input signal is lost.OPTION: Monitor enters power save mode automatically when the amount of surrounding light goes below the levelthat is determined by the user. The level can be adjusted in Tag 5 of the Advanced OSM Control menu.When in power save mode, the LED on the front of the monitor becomes dark green or blue. While in power savemode, push any of the front buttons, except for POWER and SELECT to return to normal.When the amount of surrounding light returns to normal levels, the monitor will automatically return to normal mode.HOT KEYYou can adjust the brightness and contrast directly. When this function is set to ON, you can adjust the brightnesswith “Left” or “Right”, contrast with “Down” or “Up” buttons, while the OSM menu is off. The standard OSM can beaccessed with the EXIT button.FACTORY PRESETSelecting Factory Preset allows you to reset all OSM control settings (BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, ECOMODE,AUTO BRIGHTNESS, BLACK LEVEL, IMAGE CONTROLS, COLOUR CONTROL SYSTEMS, OFF TIMER, IPM,OSM LEFT/RIGHT, OSM UP/DOWN, OSM TURN OFF) back to the factory settings. Individual settings can be resetby highlighting the control to be reset and pressing the RESET button.
