Maintenance ServiceService representatives subordinate to or authorized by NEC provide services of the BBUwith use of genuine parts and high technical capabilities. You can get the services for yourown convenience.For the services, contact the NEC sales department or representatives.2. Preventive Maintenance2-1. Preventive Maintenance of BBUCheck the condition of the BBU (including voltage and temperature) regularly as preventivemaintenance. For the purpose, you can use WebBIOS or Universal RAID Utility.2-2. Life of Battery PackThe life of battery pack in BBU is about 2 years depending operating condition.Replace the battery pack having been used for two years or longer with a new one as soonas possible following "3. Battery Pack Replacement Procedure" in this chapter.The battery pack is a supply/charged warranty device. |
