If necessary, press M81to insert another manual pause and then enter in the nextset of digits. When the automated system telephone num-ber is dialed, your phone waits to transmit the sets of num-bers following a manual pause mark. The followingmessage is displayed:Press SND For Manual Pause DialAs prompted by the automated system, press S to sendthe next set of digits. Continue to press S to send anyremaining sets of digits.Auto PauseAn automatic pause can be inserted between sets of digitsin a similar manner as manual pauses. To enter automaticpause marks, enter in the telephone number; pressM82. A “,” (comma) is displayed after the phonenumber. Enter in the next set of digits. If necessary, pressM82 to insert another automatic pause and thenenter in the next set of digits. When the automated systemtelephone number is dialed, your phone waits approxi-mately three seconds at each automatic pause mark andthen automatically transmits the remaining sets of digits.Link to Phone BookIf the total number of digits needed to access an automatedtelephone system exceeds the maximum 26 digits that canbe transmitted at one time (or stored in each phone booklocation), the phone number can be entered and thenlinked to a phone book location containing the remainingstrings of numbers.
