15InstallationThe extractor hood is designed to bemounted on the wall. During installation, optional accessories mayalso require fitting. Observe the minimum distance betweenhob and extractor hood (see ”Safetyinstructions”)! Avoid damaging the sensitive surfaces!Preparing the wall RISK OF INJURY,DAMAGE TO PROPERTYBefore drilling the holes for the designatedinstallation location, check for concealedelectrical cables and other lines.The wall must be level and vertical. The enclosed screws and wall plugs aresuitable for solid brickwork. Use theappropriate fixing materials for other wallstructures (e.g. plaster board, porous concrete,poroton bricks).Ensure that the wall has adequate loadbearing capacity. Ensure that the depth of the drilled holescorresponds with the length of the screws. Ensure that the wall plugs are secure.Max. weight in kg: 40Design subject to modification in line withtechnical development.Installation preparations1. Mark a centre line on the wall from theceiling to the lower edge of the extractorhood.2. Using the enclosed template, markpositions for the screws and, to facilitateattachment, the contour of the attachmentarea. The lower edge of the templatecorresponds to the lower edge of theextractor hood.3. Drill 2x 8 mm holes for attachment of theextractor hood and 2x 8 mm holes for thefixing bracket for the flue duct and press inwall plugs flush with the wall.4. Screw on the fixing bracket for the flueduct.5. Screw on the brackets for the extractorhood: hand tight, max. 3 Nm.Ensure that the washers and brackets arepositioned correctly!
