This prevents food remains lefton the surface from burning. Wait until the hob is cold enoughbefore attempting to clean it.Only use cleaning products specifically designed for glass-ceramic hobs. Follow the instructions provided on thepackaging.Do not use:■ Abrasive products■ heavy-duty cleaners, like oven sprays and stain removers■ Pads that may scratch■ High-pressure or steam cleanersGlass scraperRemove dried-on food remains using a glass scraper.1. Release the scraper safety catch2. Use the blade to clean the hob surfaceDo not attempt to clean the hob surface with the base of thescraper. This could result in scratching.ã=Risk of injury!!The blade is extremely sharp. Risk of cuts. Protect the bladewhen not in use. Replace the blade immediately when anyimperfections are found.Care of the applianceApply an additive to protect and preserve the hob. Follow theadvice and warnings provided with the product.Hob frameIn order to avoid damage to the hob frame, follow theindications below:■ Use only slightly soapy hot water■ Do not use sharp or abrasive products■ Do not use a glass scraperThe Tipp controlFor cleaning the Tipp control, warm water and a little soap isrecommended. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaningproducts. Do not clean the Tipp control in a dishwasher or inwashing up water. Otherwise, it could be damaged.Fixing malfunctionsMalfunctions are generally caused by minor faults. Beforecontacting the Technical Assistance Service, ensure you haveread the following recommendations and warnings.Indicator Malfunction Measurenone The electric power supply has been cut off.
