Never place metal objects (suchas knives, forks, spoons and lids) on thehob.Risk of fire!!■ After each use, always turn off the hob atthe main switch. Do not wait until the hobturns off automatically after the pan isremoved.:Warning – Risk of electric shock!■ Incorrect repairs are dangerous. Ifa drawer is located on the underside of thehob, do not store any small or sharp objects,paper or tea towels in it. These may be suckedin and damage the fan or impair the cooling.There must be a clearance of at least 2 cmbetween the contents of the drawer and thefan entry point.:Warning – Risk of injury!■ When cooking in a bain marie, the hob andcooking container could shatter due tooverheating. The cooking container in thebain marie must not directly touch thebottom of the water-filled pot. Only use heat-resistant cookware.Risk of injury!■ Saucepans may suddenly jump due toliquid between the pan base and thehotplate. Always keep the hotplate andsaucepan bases dry.
