PlacementNHT's Classic center channel designs are meant to beplaced horizontally. Ideally the center channel should beplaced immediately above or below the television, in asclose proximity as possible (Fig. 2).The three front speakers in a home theater systemsound best when placed at the same distance and thesame height in relation to each other. In addition, try ifpossible to have the tweeter height close to ear levelwhen sitting. In situations where the top face of yourtelevision may be higher than ear level, you can use thesupplied "3rd foot" (Fig. 3) to aim the speaker at yourlistening position.NHT's Classic Series represents our best efforts to datein passive loudspeaker design. Classic starts with thedesign fundamentals that have made NHT's reputationfor accuracy and high performance, and adds new driverand cabinet technologies which reduce distortion andimprove dispersion. The benefit to you is a morearticulate, more musical listening experience. All Classic Series models share a similar "voice" ortonality so that you are assured a matched system nomatter which models you decide to add as you build yoursystem. The following Setup Guide will help you unpack, connectand place your new Classic loudspeakers in yourlistening room. The purpose of this foam is toreduce unwanted reflections caused by interactionbetween the tweeter and midrange drivers. To get thebest performance from the Two C and Three C, installthis foam part.
