INTENDED USEThis product is available as a simple step stool or with a fixed handrail to offer the user additional support. It is idealfor general household use and especially suitable for helping users enter and exit the bath, or for use in the kitchen.2. SPECIFICATIONSturdy coated tubular steel frame fitted with non-sliprubber ferrules and a fluted rubber, slip resistant, coveredwooden top.3. SAFETYWarning: The maximum user weight must not be morethan 140 kg (22 st).Ensure an even floor surface to avoid rocking.Check all fixings are secure, before and after use.Check the product monthly for signs of wear and tear.Pay particular attention to the rubber feet.4. UNPACKINGRemove the packaging and check all parts carefully.Contact your supplier immediately if parts are missing ordamaged and do not try and assemble.5. MAINTENANCE• Inspect the step at regular intervals, ensure theproduct is stable and rigid.• Check all fixings are fully tightened and in goodcondition.• Check ferrules monthly for signs of wear.6. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONSThe Step Top can be cleaned with soap and water andthe frame with a non-abrasive cream cleaner or detergentsolution.7. PRODUCT DISPOSALThis product must be thoroughly cleaned/sterilised priorto disposal.This product is manufactured from metal, wood andplastic and can be disposed of through Local AuthorityHousehold Waste and Recycling Centres or throughLocal Trade Waste Collectors.8. PRODUCT GUARANTEENRS Healthcare guarantee this product for a period of24 months, from the date of purchase, against faultymaterials and workmanship.This guarantee does not cover abuse, interference ortampering with any part of the products. Issues arisingfrom fair wear & tear and customer misuse are notcovered.This guarantee covers domestic use only. If the product isused in commercial or semi-commercial settings such ascare homes, schools, rental or communal accommodationetc, the guarantee is valid for one year only. Consumableparts are also guaranteed for one year only.Any guarantee issued by NRS Healthcare does not affectyour statutory rights. |
