The term "APPLIANCE" applies to bothkinds of water heating appliances (boilers and water heaters) and is used when conveying instructions whichare common-to-both. This appliance mustbe serviced and inspected annually when operating in normal residential applications. Demanding applicationsor extreme conditions (i.e. commercial) may require more frequent service and inspection. As the User/Owner ofthis equipment, you are responsible for ensuring the maintenance is performed at the required intervals.Failure to have the appliance properly serviced and inspected on a regular basis by aqualified service technician may result in property damage, serious injury or death.Failure to keep the Vent and Combustion Air Intake clear of ice, snow, and otherdebris may result in property damage, serious injury, or death.
