Follow the installation directions. Do not operatewithout fully assembling all components.• If this appliance is not properly installed, a house fire may result.• Do not expose the appliance to the elements (ex. rain, etc.) and keep the appliance dry at all times. Wetinsulation will produce an odour when the appliance is used.• This appliance is hot when operated and can cause severe burns if contacted. Children and pets must bekept from touching the appliance when it is hot. Contact your local authorized dealer/distributor for safetyscreens that may be available for this product.• Combustible material such as firewood, wet clothing, etc. placed too close can catch fire. An outside air damper regulates theamount of outside air introduced to theappliance to supplement indoor air andcan only be adjusted to either a fullyclosed or fully open position.3. Inside the firebox, combustion takesplace and exhausts out the chimney.4. The appliance includes a flue damperat the base of the chimney which shallbe closed when the appliance is notin use to prevent cold air entering thehome, see “flue damper operation”section.
