Open grill lid. 1. Open/Remove side burner cover.2. Push and turn any main burnerknob slowly to the ’hi’ position. Thisaction will ignite the pilot flame whichwill in turn light the selected burner. Ifthe pilot lights, continue to push downon the control knob until the burnerlights and then release.2. Remove the warming rack 2. Push and turn side burner controlto high position.3. If the pilot does not ignite, thenimmediately turn the control knobback to the ‘off position and repeatstep 1 several times..3. Clip a match into the suppliedlighting rod. Hold a lit match toright end ports of rear burner. Turnrear burner to high.3. Press and holdigniter button until burner lights, orlight by match4. If the pilot and burner will notignite within 5 seconds, turn thecontrol knob to the ‘off’ position andwait 5 minutes for any excess gas todissipate. Either repeat steps 1 and 2or light with a match.4. If the burner will not ignite within5 seconds, turn the control knob tothe ‘off’ position and wait 5 minutesfor any excess gas to dissipate. Eitherrepeat steps 2 and 3 or light with amatch.WARNING! The propane cylinder is equipped with an excess flow device. Unless all burnersare turned off prior to turning the cylinder on, only small flames and low heat willbe achievable.WARNING! Do not use the rear burner (rotisserie burner) with the main burners operating.WARNING! If lighting the unit with a match, clip the match into the supplied lighting rod.Hold the lit match down through the grill and sear plate while turning thecorresponding burner valve to high.
