Tap on (Back) in order to return to the H ANDSFREEM ODULE window.7.6.2 Establishing a connection from the mobile phoneNote: Please consult the mobile phone's manual if you are uncertainabout how to carry out the following steps on the mobile phone.1. Make sure that the Bluetooth function is activated on both themobile phone and the NAVIGON 72xx.2. Using your mobile phone, search for other Bluetooth devices.The navigation device is detected as NAVIGON.3. Initiate a connection to the detected NAVIGON device.The mobile phone prompts you to enter a password.4. Enter a four-digit password (user-defined).The NAVIGON 72xx prompts you to enter a password.5. Enter the same password in the Key box as on the mobile phoneand tap on OK.The H ANDSFREE M ODULE window opens. A connection isestablished between the two devices. The name of the connectedmobile phone is displayed at the bottom edge of the screen.7.6.3 Terminating the connection and deleting the connectiondataYou can terminate the connection between the NAVIGON 72xx and themobile phone at any time.Note: You don't need to terminate the connection manually. Theconnection is terminated automatically when the mobile phone is moveda distance of approximately10 m from the NAVIGON 72xx. In this casethe connection data are saved so that the connection can be restoredautomatically when the mobile phone is close enough to theNAVIGON 72xx again.
