If you were changing some data in thecurrent screen when you press this key, thenthe changes are ignored.Cursor keysThere are four cursor keys within the one roundbutton.the top of the button is CursorUpthe bottom of the button is CursorDownthe left side of the button is CursorLeftthe right of the button is CursorRightThe function of a cursor key depends on what isbeing displayed at the time.SoftkeysThe five keys in a row under the display are calledsoftkeys. The name of a softkey depends on theinformation currently being displayed on thescreen. The name is displayed in a small boxdirectly above the key; if the name is grey or thebox is empty then the key is inactive.BeeperThe TRACKER950 has an internal beeper. Itbeeps:once when you press a keythree times when you press an inactive keycontinually when there is an alarm (seesection 2-3)External beepers can be connected to soundalarms in the boat (see section 10).This section describes the basic principles of how to operate the TRACKER950.
