You can specify anoption using a complete command such as -user or an abbreviated command suchas -u. When specifying a command, make sure to use enough characters todifferentiate it from other commands.Option commands are not case sensitive. For example, both -USER and -User areaccepted as the -user command. You can use multiple option commands with thesame invocation of admconfig. For example, the following option commandsspecify that admconfig should establish an encrypted connection witheastcoast.example.com on port 904.-enc -ser eastcoast.example.com:904Table 8-1 Options You Can Use With admconfigCommands for Options What the Command Does-con[tinueOnError] Finishes any remaining tasks (that have been specifiedon the command line) when an error occurs. (Defaultbehavior when any task fails is to quit without runningthe remaining tasks.)-enc[ryption] Uses encrypted HTTP (HTTPS) to connect to the server.(The default protocol is HTTP.)-h[elp] [task] Displays general usage information. Include a taskname for usage information specific to that task.-i[nputFile] filename Reads options and tasks from the specified file. You canspecify additional options on the command line. If anoption is present on the command line and in thespecified file, the command-line settings are used. If the-inputFile option is present in the specified file, it isignored to prevent admconfig from reading multiplesets of options.-ser[ver] [host]:port Connects to the server on the specified host and port. Ifa host isn’t specified, the local host is used. The serverport number (preceded by the colon) is required.
