Avoid letting thecleaning product run into the slots.Apply the product with a brush, spongingfrequently to avoid accumulation in thehousing. Dry the winding with a dry cloth. Letany traces evaporate before reassemblingthe machine.• Mechanical servicingCleaning the machine using water or ahighpressure washer is strictly prohi-bited. Any problems arising from suchtreatment are not covered by ourwarranty.Degreasing: Use a brush and detergent(suitable for paintwork).Dusting: Use an air gun.If the machine is fitted with air inlet and outletfilters, the maintenance personnel shouldclean them routinely at regular intervals. Inthe case of dry dust, the filter can be cleanedusing compressed air and/or replaced if it isclogged. After cleaning the alternator, it is essential tocheck the winding insulation (see sections3.2 and 4.5).WARNINGWARNING
