1212. CleaningPrior to cleaning, remove the instrumentsfrom all measurement circuits. If theinstruments are dirty after daily usage, it isadvisable to clean them by using a dampcloth and a mild household detergent.Never use acid detergents or dissolventfor cleaning. After cleaning, do not use thevoltage tester till it is dried completely.13. Transport and StorageIn order to avoid instrument damage,it is advised to remove batteries when notusing the instrument over a longer period.The tester must be stored in dry and closedareas. In the case of an instrument beingtransported in extreme temperatures, arecovery time of minimum 2 hours isrequired prior to instrument operation.14. MaintenanceUnauthorized persons shall not disassem-ble the tester and the supplementaryequipment.When using tester EV҇ / EV҈ testers incompliance with the instruction manual, noparticular maintenance is required.If functional errors occur during normaloperating, our service department willcheck your instrument without delay. |
