Keep this manual in asafe place for future reference.This Night Vision Device shouldonly be used during night or lowlight conditions. It contains a light-sensitive image intensifier tubethat can be damaged if exposed toexcessive light. To prolong tube lifeand avoid damage, do not turn theunit on in daylight without the pro-tective cover.This Night Vision Device isequipped with a built-in IR illumina-tor that can be seen by other NightVision Devices when it is turned on.Use this feature with caution.This device will not show the dif-ference between colored lights. Itproduces only a green viewing im-age. When color differentiation isneeded, verification with unaidedeyes is recommended.All Image Intensified Devices re-quire some light to operate suchas moonlight or ambient starlight.Night vision devices will not pen-etrate smoke, fog, rain, or heavysnowfall. Cloud cover and treeshadows will reduce the effective-ness of this device.Do not operate this Night VisionDevice in a potentially explosiveenvironment near gasoline fumesor other volatile materials. This is ahigh voltage electrical device.Do not disassemble, puncture, re-charge, or expose the battery tofire or high temperature. Doing somay result in an explosion and re-sulting chemical burns.
