16The Nike+ SportBand User’s Guide1 secDuring Your RunRECORDING A RUNAfter your Link is charged, and you’ve customized the settings, disconnect theLink from the USB port on your computer, and place it back in the SportBand.fig.22fig.23fig.24“recording”animation barfig.213 secMake sure the sensor is in your shoe.1.If not, lift the sockliner of the left shoe,remove the foam insert from thepocket underneath, and replace it withthe sensor, flat side up. (fig.21)Establish the connection between the2.SportBand and your shoe sensor.Press and hold the Record button onthe top of the SportBand for a full 3seconds. (fig.22) A blinking shoe iconwill appear in the upper left handcorner of the display, while it connectsto your shoe sensor. The display willshow the word WALk. Walk around tomake sure that your shoe sensor issending a signal. When a connection isready, the shoe icon will stop blinkingand you’ll see PUSH TO RUN.Note: Be sure to walk around, and allow the shoesensor to send a signal to your SportBand. If youdon’t walk, the display will blink WALk for 30seconds, and then automatically go to the currenttime of day.To start recording your run, simply3.press the Record button (fig. 23). Abar will animate across the bottom ofthe display, indicating that theSportBand is recording. (fig.24) Note:Press, but don’t hold and press, theRecord button to start recording.
