E26Reference SectionConnecting the Camera to a Printer (Direct Print)Users of PictBridge-compatible (F17) printers can connect the camera directly tothe printer and print pictures without using a computer. The steps for printing areas follows.B Notes on Power Source• When connecting the camera to a printer, use a fully charged battery to prevent the camera fromturning off unexpectedly.• If the AC Adapter EH-62F (available separately) (E96) is used, COOLPIX P310 can be poweredfrom an electrical outlet. Do not, under any circumstances, use an AC Adapter other than the EH-62F. Failure to observe this precaution could result in overheating or damage to the camera.C Printing PicturesIn addition to printing pictures transferred to a computer and printing pictures with a direct camera-to-printer connection, the following options are also available for printing pictures recorded on thememory card:• Insert a memory card into a DPOF-compatible printer’s card slot.• Take a memory card to a digital photo lab.For printing using these methods, specify the pictures and the number of prints each using thePrint order (E56) option in the playback menu.Take picturesConnect the camera to the printer (E27)Print individual pictures(E28) Print multiple pictures (E29)When printing is complete, turn the camera off and disconnect the USB cableChoose the pictures for printingusing the print order option(Print order: E56)
