In most cases, this phenomenon is caused by a strongexternal static charge. Turn the camera off, remove and replace the battery, then turn thecamera on again. Note that disconnecting the power source as described above mayresult in the loss of any data not recorded on the internal memory or memory card at thetime the problem occurred. Data already recorded is not affected.
