Chargethe battery inserted into the cameraby connecting the Charging ACAdapter EH-68P/EH-68P (AR)(supplied).• When inserting the battery, do notattempt to insert it upside down orbackwards.• Do not short or disassemble thebattery or attempt to remove orbreak the battery insulation orcasing.• Do not expose the battery to flameor to excessive heat.• Do not immerse in or expose towater.• Replace the terminal cover whentransporting the battery. Do nottransport or store with metal objectssuch as necklaces or hairpins.• The battery is prone to leakagewhen fully discharged. To avoiddamage to the product, be sure toremove the battery when no chargeremains.• Discontinue use immediately shouldyou notice any change in thebattery, such as discoloration ordeformation.• If liquid from the damaged batterycomes in contact with clothing orskin, rinse immediately with plentyof water.Observe the followingprecautions when handlingthe Charging AC Adapter• Keep dry. Failure to observe thisprecaution could result in fire orelectric shock.• Dust on or near the metal parts ofthe plug should be removed with adry cloth.
