oooUse this mode to capture the details of a moving subject by shooting a continuousseries of images.• The focus, exposure, and white balance settings are fixed at the values for thefirst picture in each series.1 Rotate the mode dial to _T_)x@ft . _/ /_ (continuous).Thecameraenterscontinuous b)shooting mode. -- _ _ ,/F_Pressthe MENUbutton and confirm or changethe settings in the continuous menu.See "Continuous Menu" (_ 82) for more information.Press the MENUbutton after changing the settings andreturn to the shooting screen.Frame the subject and shoot.By default, if the camera detects a human face, it focuses onthat face (see "Face Detection" ([_) 56) for moreinformation). If the camera does not detect any faces, thecamera selects the focus areas (up to nine areas) containingthe subject closest to the camera.Press the shutter-release button halfway to lock focus andexposure.When Continuous H, Continuous L, Pre-shooting cache, or BSS is selected in thecontinuous menu, images are captured while the shutter-reEease button is held all theway down.When Continuous H: 120 fps, Continuous H: 60 fps, or Multi-shot 16 is selected inthe continuous menu, the number of images determined by the setting are capturedwhen the shutter-release button is pressed all the way.There is no need to hold theshutter-release button down.After taking a picture, the camera returns to the shooting screen.
