The number of images that can be stored varies withthe make of memory card and the type of scene recorded.Image File and Folder NamesOn the memory card, pictures are identified by file names with three parts: a four let-ter identifier, a four-digit file number assigned automatically by the camera in ascend-ing order, and a three-letter extension (e.g., “DSCN0001.JPG”).
