Charge the BatteryThe camera is powered by an EN-EL9a rechargeable Li-ion battery (supplied). Tomaximize shooting time, charge the battery in the supplied MH-23 quick chargerbefore use. About one hour and forty minutes are required to fully recharge thebattery when no charge remains.Plug the charger in.Insert the AC adapter plug into the batterycharger and plug the power cable into anelectrical outlet.2 Remove the terminal cover.Remove the terminal cover from the battery.34Insert the battery.Insert the battery as shown in the illustration onthe charger. The CHARGElamp will blink while thebattery charges.Battery Chargingcharging completeRemove the battery when charging iscomplete.Charging is complete when the CHARGElampstops blinking.
